In Southern California, 15–30% reduction is typical. West-facing glass sees the biggest savings (30–40%). We can model exact ROI for your square footage and orientation during the free consultation.
Not with modern spectrally-selective films. They reject 80%+ of heat while passing 70%+ of visible light. You keep natural daylight without the heat or UV. Tinted or privacy variants are available if you specifically want darkness.
Interior-applied film lasts 15–25 years indoors. Exterior-grade film for outside application lasts 7–10 years. Both come with full manufacturer warranties — we only install Llumar commercial-grade films.
Only if installed on the wrong glass type. We field-test every pane before quoting. For insulated low-E units we specify the correct film tier (lower absorption) to prevent thermal stress fractures. This is where experience pays off.
Yes — cleanly, without damaging glass, even after 15 years. Removal takes a trained installer 5–10 minutes per window. We handle removals of any brand, not just our own.
