We connect to an always-hot and an ignition fuse via tapped terminals. No splicing into existing wires.

Protects your battery. Cam shuts off if voltage drops below 12.0V.

Front camera wire tucked behind headliner and A-pillar trim. No visible cord.

Prices are for the 2-channel kit installed by us — the $175 install covers labor plus the OBD-II power adapter we run on every job (labor-only is $250). Accessory add-ons (radar module, iVolt battery, higher-capacity microSD) are quoted on top. Tell us your car for a same-day total.

The Real Reason to Upgrade.
Parking mode keeps your camera recording while the car is off — critical for catching hit-and-runs and vandalism. Every install includes a hardwire kit + battery-discharge cutoff, so the cam runs for days without killing your starter.
Radar Parking F+R
Doppler radar triggers recording on actual movement — not shadows or leaves. Front and rear channels both. SD card lasts months instead of weeks.
Super Night Vision
Sony Starvis sensors + Thinkware's noise reduction pull plate numbers out of dark parking lots — the one place a dashcam actually has to perform.
iVolt Battery Pack
Add an iVolt Mini or Xtra for days of parking-mode coverage with zero starter-battery drain. Recommended for owners parking outdoors overnight or at airports.

Before You Hardwire.
We narrowed our lineup after years of installing every brand on the market. Thinkware's Pro Series is the only line that pairs Sony Starvis sensors, true HDR, radar-enabled parking, and a reliable battery cutoff — all at price points we can stand behind. We keep two of each Pro Series model on the shelf, so most installs are same-day.
No. We hardwire through fuse-tap adapters using the accessory circuit — no cut factory wires, no drilled holes. Install is 100% reversible.
Every install includes a battery-discharge cut-off module. Parking mode engages when the ignition is off; if battery voltage drops below a safe threshold (~12.2V), the module cuts power automatically. For multi-day parking coverage, ask about adding an iVolt battery pack.
Technically yes, but 90% of the bad installs we fix are DIY jobs — dangling wires, tripped passenger airbags, poorly grounded fuses. A clean hardwired install takes 2–4 hours with the right trim tools.
Yes. Most of our installs are 2-channel (front + rear). The U3000 PRO supports an optional infrared cabin camera for rideshare drivers. Cabling routes through the headliner — no visible wires.
Yes. Labor-only install is available for any reputable dashcam brand. Pricing depends on the unit (multi-channel, OBD-power, or unusual mounting takes longer) — request a quote and we'll confirm before scheduling.
